- Are there any factors that you think are going to affect your participation or experience in this class? Access to a computer? Mobile/smart phone? Transportation? Friends/family? Schedule?
- Think of an awesome best ever learning experience that changed you. What did you learn? Where were you? What happened? Who else was there? Did it teach you anything about how you learn (or pay attention... or remember, or think?) How did you know what was happening?
- What are you most [excited/concerned] about in this class? What do you look forward to in learning? How do you think it can/will make a practical difference in your life?
2. I remember in sixth grade, in my AVID class, we were watching a video about kids in Uganda and these 3 guys trying to help them. It was called Invisible Children. They were young African American kids being forced to be child soldiers. Being killed and taken away from their families, and just having horrible things happen to them. It taught me many things. For starters, realize I was, still am, very fortunate for the things I have and I shouldn't take them for granted. Like education, my family, food, and a roof over my head. It made me more aware of things that were happening in the world.
3. I am most excited about in this class is probably going to be the new way of learning, blogging, and sharing and learning from my fellow classmates.
